Coinberry was fun, until transferring money back! I have been using Coinberry for many months now and I have had no issues with the transfer of money or coins. I have informed them I no longer wished to use their site, and that I wanted my money returned so I could close the account. Awful.Similar to several people on here they changed my account from verified to unverified AFTER I requested the withdrawal, and are asking for a number of documents, claiming they need to be compliant with FINTRAC.
I have contacted their office several times to clarify wh… This platform is used by many scammer… They are slow to respond and don’t provide any account information when requested.

For those who are not too familiar with the term, short selling is the act of agreeing to sell the asset at some time in the future at some predetermined price. We have not seen this functionality on any other Canadian exchange. Something that we found quite unique about the Coinberry platform was the ability to short sell an asset. This is the instantaneous purchase of crypto directly from Coinberry. This means that the interface is a lot simpler (so there is no margin trading or ability to view trading charts).
They won’t do anything unless I give them the IDs etc, which I did not agree to when I signed up for the account. They are refusing to do the transfer until I provide them with several additional (and not actually legally required) forms of ID. Answered my questions in a timely manner.

Coinberry has no compliance or customer service. Companies on Trustpilot aren’t allowed to offer incentives or pay to hide reviews. They should consider adding a slightly more “advanced” secondary platform for those users who would like to trade in a more professional manner. Now that major players like Coinbase have added several Altcoins to their roster, Coinberry should at least be trading all of the top 10 coins from coin market cap. While there were many things that we liked about the exchange, there were also a coinberry review few areas for improvement.
This does not feel right to me but I was told it is “the rules of the crypto currency market”. I have applied to withdraw funds only to be told that I had tax to pay the tax, alleged to be due, upfront before I could withdraw any funds. Anyway, if you want to venture into crypto currencies, avoid this company like the plague. So I contacted customer service by email and that went back to Coinberry.
